Community Events

We're proud to support events that bring Whanganui together. This community has given us a lot. Showing up is our way of giving something back.

    Duck Race 2026

    Every year we send hundreds of rubber ducks down the Whanganui River for a good cause. Ten cash prizes, big crowds, and every dollar raised going to Jigsaw Whanganui. It's one of our favourite days of the year. 
Race day: Saturday 6th December 2026.

    Soap Box Derby 2027

    The Plumber Dan Soap Box Derby is back in 2027. Gravity-powered cars, Whanganui streets and a whole lot of noise. The derby is a team effort, on and off the track. Thanks to our fellow sponsors for helping make it happen. Stay tuned for dates, registration and how to get involved.
